Chief Medical Director

Dr. Husam Qush, is the Chief Medical Director at West Bay Medicare and consultant in Obstetrics & gynaecology and infertility. He attended Medical School at the University of Saarland in Homburg, Germany receiving his Medical License in 1997. Went onto a residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Hospital of Saarland, learning key techniques in all aspects of women's medicine to receive his Medical Doctorate specializing in infertility by 2002 and by 2003, he became a German Board member. Over the past 15 years Dr. Qush has built on his strong Obstetrics and Gynaecology foundation with positions as an OBS-GYNE Consultant at a number of hospitals in Germany, UK and Qatar.

Throughout his prestigious career, his continued training has provided Husam with all the necessary skills to diagnose, treat and manage many different gynaecological and obstetrical problems, including in the fields of prenatal medicine, oncology, infertility, and breast problems.

Like his colleagues, Dr. Qush is proficient in a number of languages, fluent in his native tongue Arabic, as well as speaking German and English.

Dr. Wajih Abdallat M.D.

Ophthalmology Consultant

FRCSEd - UK, FICO - UK, JBd of Ophthalmology - Jordan, Fellow in Cornea & Refractive Surgery (Munich - Germany).

After graduating from the Army Medical College in Pakistan, Wajih Abdallat went on to specialize in Ophthalmology, completing his residency in 1998 from KHMC achieving the Jordanian Board then completing his fellowship requirements from Edinburgh and Cambridge. Then having a subspecialty in Cornea, Refractive Surgery and External eye diseases. As an expert in cornea and refractive surgery, he has held a number of positions, most recently as an Ophthalmology Consultant and Head of the Cornea & Refractive Centre, in the King Hussain Medical Centre. West Bay Medicare is delighted to have an eye care specialist of his caliber as part of the medical team.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Abdallat has been a regular contributor to research studies and publications, in numerous Ophthalmology sub-fields, such as Refractive Surgery, Cataract Surgery, and Anisometropia. Furthermore, he shows a real dedication to improving the eye health of those that don't have easy access to comprehensive healthcare. In collaboration with the Women's Health National Centre, Dr. Wajih worked on projects to bring mobile eye screening to remote areas of Jordan, as well as screening for eye complications in Diabetic patients, and for Amblyopia (lazy eye) in school children in such areas.
